The Fisherman's Club is : a ministry, and a part of the vision at Fountain of Living Water; (2 Corinthians.5: 17-18 , Matthew 4: 18-19 , Matthew 22: 1-10 , and Acts 1: 8) . We believe in putting legs to our faith, in helping reach the city of Wichita Falls for Jesus. Jesus said "if you follow Me, you will catch men".
We individually and collectively go out to the parks and streets of our city sharing the Good News of the Gospel. We believe in interceding prayer for our beautiful city. (1 Timothy 2: 1-6) . We would like to be fishers of men; instruments used to introduce the Word of the Living God, and offer a place of worship, or encourage those with whom we share the Word to seek out a place to worship, that lifts up the name of Jesus.
God has not forgotten to fulfill His promise of Christ's return, but is patient, not willing that any should perish, but that all should be saved, and come to understand the Truth. Jesus said: "and this Gospel will be preached to all the world for a witness, and then the end will come." We have come to know that God is good. And His desire is only prosperity for our lives. It is our duty to share the Gospel with everyone.
In keeping with this covenant, we celebrate monthly the person or persons who have had the most visitors attend from sharing the Gospel with them.
